Glen Carbon, Il.		 Meet and Greet the Candidates. Join us for discussions with the local candidates. Citizens will have a chance to meet and speak with candidates. The following candidates have been invited: Madison County Board Chairman Alan Dunstan and challenger Hal Patton; County Board candidates Jack Minner, Jacob Dean, Ken Scheibel and Patrick Ryan; Rep. Jay Hoffman, D-Collinsville, and challenger Dwight Kay; and Rep. John Shimkus, R-Collinsville, and challenger Daniel Davis.

Parking is available in a lot behind the Museum and also along Main Street and Second Street.

Learn more about the Mississippi River Festival from Stephen Kerber, archivist at SIU-E. The annual business meeting will follow. Dinner to include baked chicken, pasta with roasted vegetables, tossed salad, hot bread, and desert. Beverage choices include coffee, iced tea, and soda.
